Life is an incredible journey with ups and downs. We soar, struggle, scale and stumble, and often stand at the edge of cliffs, afraid to step into the unknown, unsure of where we will land. But instead of running away, we are called by God to stand firm, muster up what faith we can, and take a step. Because we were made to move mountains. In this inspiring book, Kristen Welch calls you to step out in faith and climb the mountain in front of you--not because you are good enough or adequate or able, but because God makes a way where there is no way. With heartbreaking and hopeful personal stories, Scripture, and questions for contemplation, she draws you out of fear and into a holy confidence, showing you that the mountain in your path was put there on purpose, so that you could exercise--and grow--your faith.

When I was a small child, my grandfather made whole family pray. I remember that some of the family members used to get tired of praying everyday. They would run away from the main farm house and hide. However, that would not stop granddad Maxin Mwanyenya Mutambanengwe. It was like some fire had been put on him. He would pick up his walking stick and go round all the outer buildings as though he was hunting for a thief. Why did he do that everyday? He would come back with all the boys who were hiding from him. Only then would the prayers start. He never got tired of this activity. Even if only one of the boys was not there he would stop and go and look for him. Now I know he was actually fighting with the devil. I am sure he used to chase the devil away from all his grandchildren. We had the bible but in those days he is the one who read the bible for us. He loved singing therefore we had a praise and worship session and then read from the word of God. Then he would pray and dismiss everyone. Now that I know, I hope Prayers that Moved Mountains Still Move Mountains will be of assistance to those families that wish to have prayers on a daily basis. Just as reference to how these people prayed and how their prayers were answered. Prayers that Moved Mountains Still Move Mountains is a selection of powerful prayers. Men of God prayed and these prayers were answered in most miraculous ways. God will answer you just as he answered those powerful men and women. He has answered my minor and major prayers. Jesus offered prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears.

In Part One, we analyze the meaning of the Hebrew and Greek words translated "faith." Next, we explore how all of our faculties interact so you learn how to process a promise into a powerful word of faith. In Part Two, you discover how these principles are modeled by such Old Testament luminaries as Abraham, Enoch, Noah, Daniel's friends, and renowned Gentiles (Caleb, Rahab, and Job). In Part Three, we tackle such vital issues as the nature of "saving faith," the "how-to" of effective trusting, and how your understanding of God's faithfulness influences your ability to trust Him. Whether you are a pastor, bible teacher, or small group leader seeking to transform the lives of those you serve, you will find a wealth of life-changing insights.

Experience God's Unstoppable Breakthrough and Blessings! You may be facing an issue that seems like an insurmountable mountain in your life. Or, your circumstances may be so difficult you feel surrounded by walls with no way out. You ask God to knock down those walls, just as He did for Joshua at Jericho. But they're still standing. Sometimes, God removes the obstacles from our lives immediately and dramatically. But what can we do when the mountain doesn't move, when the breakthrough doesn't come, when God's promises aren't fulfilled, even when we pray? That's when we have to plant ourselves in God's Word and presence and let Him take us over our mountain! The breakthrough starts as our roots grow deep. This is what Joseph did when he was in the pit and the dungeon. "Joseph is a fruitful bough, a fruitful bough by a well; his branches run over the wall" (Genesis 49:22). He grew over his wall, his mountain, by adopting a heavenly perspective rather than an earthly one. The result was a multitude of blessings for him, his family, and the world. You can rise up over your own mountain of difficulty, opposition, or hindrance. As you do, that mountain won't look as high as it used to. Every negative situation will divinely position you to be where you need to be in life. You will rise over circumstances you thought were too powerful for you. You will rise over the wall of limitation that once surrounded you. You will rise over the dead end or impossibility that threatened to defeat you. The trials of life have no power to stop you from being abundant and fruitful in God, receiving His blessings, and fulfilling the plans He has for you. Then, your breakthrough will become a breakthrough and blessing for others, too, enabling them to rise over their own mountains of difficulty.

The Faith That Moves Mountains: How to Have It, How to Use It, and How to Protect It is a Christian nonfiction book consisting of a theological reflection on Mark 11:2025. If you feel like you have a huge and intimidating mountain standing in front of you, if you feel like a huge wall prevents you from entering into your promised land, if you are currently facing a situation where you feel blocked from realizing your full potential and fulfilling your God-given destiny, this book is written for you. The purpose of the book is to reassure you that God has not forgotten you, even if it feels like so at times. That you have found yourself in precarious situations at one point or another in your life is not a result of Gods indifference toward you. This book reminds you that even before God brought you into this world, he made provisions in order for you to be able to deal with such circumstances. You must never lose sight of the fact that God loves you and his plan is not for the mountains of life to remain in your way forever without you being able to do something about it. In this book, I will teach you about the nature of the faith that moves mountains. I will try to explain the nature of that faithhow to have it, how to use it, and how to protect it. I want you to realize that you dont always have to put up with things that prevent you from moving forward in your life and toward your God-given destiny. I encourage you to keep this in mind: not knowing whether or not something negative is happening to you is part of how God is working in your life. You need to pray and make your desire known to God. As Gods servant, you never need to hide your frustration from him and shy away from letting the one who loves you know what you need. My prayer is that, after realizing how powerful faith in God is, you may put yours into good use. God did not put us in this world without carefully equipping us for every challenge we would face. God has not created us either as simple tools he can use whenever or for whatever he wants. Rather, God has made us acting beings able to do thingsand in fact the things which he himself does. God created us in his image and has made us his associates in looking after everything he created. Discover the power of faith in God, and triumph over the mountains of life.
